We had a really nice weekend. The weather was warm and breezy. Jeff had a slow work week, so we got chores done on Friday, which meant more time to enjoy the weekend. Saturday was a special bacon and egg breakfast, with homemade biscuits and fruit! (Those darling napkin holders are from here.) We took a little walk to the seals and then met up for an impromptu afternoon at the beach with friends. Sunday we walked downtown, rode bikes and I got in a little painting and crafting. A quick but very nice weekend. I’m looking forward to next weekend. We are hosting a little Easter/Spring brunch for my family and I’m sure it will be a fun day!

  1. You were painting outdoors on easels both of you? How neat. Good for you. Looked like you had a nice painting going. I’d like to see that and any other paintings you are doing besides our family pics. Looks like you are going to have a nice Easter. I’ll be there in spirit. I love you all, but especially you. 2. On second thought, those folks that are painting don’t look like they’re dressed like you so not sure the painters are you two or people you shot pics of. I think that’s what you did. Like, how could you paint and watch out for Ellie anyway? Some day though, you’ll get an easel and go painting en plien air and you’ll love it. Katie, Hayley and you, go someplace neat where you can relax and have at it. Remember, if people would like to see your painting and say nice things, just say thank you and if they keep hanging around making you uncomfortable you take your brush and zap it behind you,. They’ll get the message. 🙂
