Another year down! This will be my third year of documenting Ellie’s growth and development week by week through a portrait. I’m excited to embark on this portrait project. Having these books in our home to look back on is so much fun for both Jeff and I as well as Ellie. I decided to go with Shutterfly once again this year. I stuck with the same style of book. A 10x 10 white paged book. The photos and the words beneath, the centerpiece of each page.
Now for 2015’s first portrait
eloise: Two years and 5 months old. A New Year… and you are ready for anything that comes your way!
-joining Jodi for the 52 project 2015!
Lovely photos! This is my third year of The 52 Project too. You’ve inspired me to create and have my girls books made, yours look great. I love how you’ve used Jodi’s picture/motif on the cover. x Dre
The books are so wonderful to have. My daughter used to look at last year’s book daily. And it’s lovely to look back on tender moments as a mother. Thank you and I’m glad you are continuing on too! Yay for portraits!
You have your 2014 book done already, you rock!!! Hoping to get to work on mine this week π
She looks like she is ready to take on the world in this photo π
Your book looks amazing! It’s what I hope to make for each of my kiddos for next year… Can’t wait to see Eloise grow again this year and join you guys for the project!
thanks for posting pictures of the book- i never considered doing it, but seeing it now, i might just change my mind. lovely!
Your sweet girl is getting so big! I wanted to wish you the best as we begin a new year. Getting to know you last year was one of the highs of my year. I am still making your granola recipe each week and I use the coaster you made me daily and always think of you π
Tracey, this is the sweetest comment! It warmed my heart! It’s so neat this online community. I’m touched by the inspiration and amazing people I have found out there, including you. Happy New Year! xoxo!
oh wow! i didn’t realize you make books with all of the photos… i never looks into the 52 project really… but your fantastic books make me consider doing it… would be pretty crazy keeping up with it when there’s four though π maybe i can group photo them!
The books are so much fun to have! Thank you Jenny! You should totally do it. There are people who do take a photo each week of each of their children or group them together for a group shot. It may be a bit more work for you, but I’d love to see your project!! You can still join in!!!
