Spring is in the air. I can feel it. There are buds on the trees, daffodils blooming, my winter garden is suddenly getting heavier with produce and those peas have begun to sprout. I’m smelling the lush, sweet scent of jasmine everywhere and I’m getting the urge to clean, organize and dress areas of my home up in lighter colors.

absolutely love the smiles!! and so looking forward to spring, these pictures cheered me up. we still have snow but it is melting fast and the spring bulbs have just popped up (as well as the mountain spinach!)

me too! mountain spinach is also called orach, it self sows! I love planting things in the garden that require no effort!
I love learning about new plants and produce. Do you use it the same way you would regular spinach? We have just come across chinese dandelion (mizuna) at our farmers market and love it in salads. I wanted to try growing it this summer but it’s difficult to track down.
