Doggie walks, yard sales, hot weather, cooler weather, nine month old photo shoot outtakes, driving by the fire damaged hillsides, visits with Gramma, Grandpa and Auntie Katie, listening to the Reading Rainbow theme song over and over, springing up areas of the house, a baby girl making it all the way up the stairs (yikes!) and getting a mirror for a special someone’s bedroom. These are all things that made up our weekend. How was yours?

  1. Sounds like a great weekend! I especially love the pic of Ellie in her stripy and dotty dress – that’s sooo cute!

    Enjoy your week πŸ™‚

    • I always seem to find stripy and dotty things at the thrift stores for her, or she’s gifted stripy/dotty outfits. She wears them well. πŸ™‚ Enjoy your week as well!

  2. Had a wonderful weekend with Earl’s son John, who moved back to the beautiful Pacific Northwest after many years of living in San Diego. Happy to be back “home”, he says. (I like the top photo as it reminds me of my Amy pillow.)

    • Sounds like you had a very nice weekend! I’m sure Grandpa Earl is thrilled to have his son closer. And that’s right, your pillow did have the palms on it. How funny! πŸ™‚

  3. so in love with the diaper, leggings cute shirt/dress pic!! totally my fav pic of your weekend

the red branched trees are really neat too, we don’t have trees like that here.

    • Thanks! She’s not into pants these days so to keep her poor little knees from getting scruffed up, the leggings help. πŸ™‚ It just so happened everything matched pretty well. And you know about those trees- no one I know seems to know what they are, but whenever I walk down the street that is lined with them, I just can’t help but stare up at them… they are lovely trees!
